Kevs Radios

Hi there, welcome to my radio site. I am a New Zealand collector, I started collecting radios in 1994 and my collection grew steadily for a few years, but in 2002 due to unfortunate circumstances we had to move house so some of the collection had to be sold. Most of what can be viewed on the site I still have in my collection. I have taken a shine to Columbus radios, which were made in NZ from the 1930's to the 1960’s, so there is a special section on Columbus. There is some info and pictures in the Bakelite section on Akrad radios which were made right here in Waihi my home town. Akrad was one of New Zealands biggest radio producers for a number of years. Lots more pictures of early 1930s radios, and the larger Console radios. Enjoy viewing the site
